Help Car dock unlocking

After receiving the M2 car mount, I have noticed a troublesome problem. When the phone is docked, and I hit the top unlock button, and then attempt to swipe down, I get either no response, or occasionally it will unlock the screen. If I use my other hand to hold the phone, it will unlock normally. Obviously, this will not work while driving down the road. I have seen on other forums either this EXACT problem, or a problem with the device laying on it back. Also, if I do get the phone to unlock, navigating while in the dock is very erratic. I'm curious if anyone is having a problem with their phone while in a car dock, or lying on a surface and will not unlock without holding it with your other hand. Any help is appreciated.

Just saw another thread on here concerning this issue. Hopefully this will be rectified with an update, or phone exchange. I love this phone too much to even consider another brand.

Usually plugging the car charger into the phone will fix the problem.

I just verified the touchscreen works fine while the charger is plugged in. Man I hope an update fixes this.

I just asked the same question. According to someone who had installed the leaked OTA they have not fixed the grounding issue.

I'm installing the leaked OTA as we speak. I'll test the car dock problem after the OTA install, and report back.
