Move to sd card located in settings > applications >manage applications > downloaded tab. Hit the app you want and it'll give you the option to move to SD.
Edit: Forgot to mention that the app must support being installed on the SD card.
Some of the apps don't have an option to be moved to SD card. Those are the ones with grayed out areas. If there is an option, it clearly shows the option to be moved.
I used the application called System. Lets you do all at the same time Now I'm debating hard reseting my phone since I feel like its buggy and the battery life sucks since the update. Plus I had the Flash already installed which wont uninstall.
That depends upon the app. Some apps support installing directly to the SD card under Froyo, others will default to a phone install and you can move later if desired.
Download SDMove, if you're looking for an easy way to tell what apps support being moved to the SD card. It'll list the ones that are compatible with being moved, and tell you where they reside. The stock application manager shows you all apps, and you have to check them one by one to see which ones support being moved.
Settings, Appications, manage appications, click the app, click "move to SD card".
This only works if the app supports app2SD card(which many devs are slowly but surely doing). And yes, it's a good thing if you want lots of apps without worrying about running out of space soon.

I moved every App that was able to my 32gig card and everything still runs flawlessly. It keeps all settings and widgets active. it isn't like an uninstall and reinstall.
I know you can only move a certain few right now, but I can't even move those ones. Every "move to SD" option is grayed out. All of my apps are updated so what am I doing wrong here?
