Root Can't download apps

For some reason after I flash a rom and apply a theme after so long I can't download apps from the market, and I can't find any reason why that is.. also I deleted all the cache I could from all my apps

have you removed gtalk?

try clearing market cache

Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>Press Menu Key>Filter>All>Market>Clear Cache

and you could also try the uninstall updates option as that has also helped with market issues.

after you clear cache and/or uninstall the updates to market you should power cycle the phone.

I've done all that except unistall updates to market I don't think I have updates but I'll check also I'll do a power cycle and I haven't taken anything off unless it was already taken off, I'm using velocity rom

Well AFIK velocity rom doesnt remove gtalk since its actually more of a required file.

um try clearing dalvik cache again. ive heard thats helped.

if that doesnt work clear both caches and reflash the velocity rom

i didnt tell you to put any files in your phone. are you sure it was this thread? i just told livesjd to put a couple on their phone but that was the default messaging app

Yeah I was in the wrong thread it was on my phone and I saw your name I figured it was my thread but it was that other guys, maybe I should read a little bit more lol

Yes I clear dalvik cache, didn't help.. This is the second time this happened..

I have re-flash again... This is so weak..

Are you using clockwork recovery or custom recovery by drellisdee?

custom recovery is said to be better. but try clearing both caches and flashing velocity 0.1 first then clearing both caches and flashing 0.1.1

alright well try flashing velocity 0.1 and then 0.1.1 but clearing caches before flashing them
