I recently bought an HTC Desire, and man. I sure love it! Recently I installed the K-9 mail app, and I thought it was pretty neat. However, I did find some small issues that I'm still trying to fix. Maybe you guys could help me out!
First of all, the thing that I've been mostly bothered with is how it didn't seem to automatically sync my labels. I did find some kind of semi-solution for this however.. By going to the account settings and revalidating the incoming server settings, it seems to also resync the labels. Is there some other way to do this, though? It seems kind of weird to do it this way.
That takes me to my second problem. Recently I reorganized my GMail labels and thus I wanted to resync the labels in K-9. However, then I experienced a new problem! When I try revalidating my incoming server settings, I get the following message:
I re-entered all my details and I looked up the IMAP settings for GMail, but alas, no sigar. It keeps saying this, and thus I can't resync my labels. However, I can receive mail perfectly fine for some reason. Has anyone found a proper solution for this problem?
And my last "problem" is related to disk space usage. Since K-9 can only be installed to the internal memory, I'm kind of concerned about the space usage. Especially because as of late I've been getting a lot of duplicates because of the unsynced labels. I've found that the amount of space K-9 uses is very hard to manage, however. Is it possible to view message of folder size, for example? Or is there some other way to manage this better?
