Root Delete ROM Manager

Someone wanna tell me how I get rid of ROM manager? Uninstall is greyed out.

If it was baked into a ROM, then it's possibly not in the standard location, so you might have to manually remove it.

wasn't baked in. installed it myself cuz virtuous said it could be updated through it. well you cant update it through the free version so i wanna remove it.

The premium version is well worth it, makes flashing roms and mods super quick and easy. Just an FYI.

You might have to delete it via adb. That said, it's well worth the $4 for the premium version, and it supports probably the most important dev on the android scene.

Something like:
adb remount
rm /system/app/RomManager.apk
pm uninstall com.koushikdutta.rommanager
adb remount

understandable about supporting the guy but i get along just fine with normal clockwork and doing my roms that way. id buy it if i felt i had a need for it. i appreciate these people and their work no doubt. hell i donated like 10 bucks to adry and i dont use his roms anymore.

it just makes me wanna kick puppies and infants when i cant uninstall something that should be uninstallable.

thats understandable, but you can install any rom with this app, not just his.

oh i know. its cool man. just wanted to get rid of something i wasnt using. we'll see if i buy it.

either way though, needs an uninstall option.

if you updated virtuous it is now baked in as of 2.7

Edit> however you can remove it by using adb or get root explorer app and delete it from system apps

You might have to delete it via adb.

Something like:
adb remount
rm /system/app/RomManager.apk
pm uninstall com.koushikdutta.rommanager
adb remount
