Let's see your "Incredible" layout (Pun intended)

Mind posting that backround for me plz? thanks.

Here ya go dude, I also have it in red too! It looks awesome but ultimately I chose blue per it's easier on the eyes.

Froyo 2.2 with LauncherPro

My center icon is a JS (my initials) and the icon on the right page that doesn't look like the rest I just created - says GAME but is way too small.. working on fixing that now

Also, all those dock icons have tap and swipe gesture shortcuts, some into folders from folder organizer.

Thanks to all those over the past 35 pages and 4 months... we are almost there... hopefully..

So I have been using photoshop to make my own icons for my dock on LP

but they come out so TINY!! (85 x 85 pixels - was what I read elsewhere on forums)

anybody know how I can fix this???

I have tried increasing the size in photoshop but no matter how big I make it, it always looks the same in the dock

LP resizes the dock icons, so no no matter how big they are, they will be the same size. Some people have been making docks with larger "icons" built into it, then use completely transparent icons

how would one do that??

- intrigued

Find a dock you like, or make your own. Then find some icons you like, or make your own. Using a Photoshop like program (I use Paint.net, it's free), copy and paste the icon images (to the size you want) onto the dock image. Now make a transparent .png image.

In LP, change the dock to the one you have just created, with the icons embedded into it. It will look like you have 2 icons on top of each other. Change the icons to the transparent .png image you created.

Voila, you now have bigger "icons" in your dock

A little bit off topic -- but is there a way to create a widget -- Like with Folder Organizer (or something similar) that can launch another widget rather than an application??? What I'd like to do for example is to put a weather widget inside a Multicon layout. For example a 4x4 layout that would cotain for example Gmail and SMS unread count.

I'm interested in this too. FWIW, Multicon absolutely ROCKS!

Ok after days and weeks and months of scanning through everyone else's screens I have started to settle down on the changes of my phone. I waited for 2.2 to be released played with it for a little bit then finally rooted it. And might I add unRevoked did an amazing job with the one click root process. I am running Virtuous 2.7 ROM with the INCredible rEVOlution theme. I also use swype themed with black and red. I attached 5 screens:
My main screen: has beautiful widgets skinned with chromed_alloy time and plain grey weather, below that is Extended Controls, next my 4 most used icons done with desktop visualizer and dreamlyfe icons.
One screen left: Pandora widget fully transparent, Audiomanager Pro skinned in slidey, then google search.
One screen right: Facebook widget fully transparent, then HTC agenda widget at the bottom.
App Drawer: Just a semi transparent picture of my app drawer.
Lock Screen: Widgetlocker, with same Beautiful widget as my main screen, Executive Assistant for a quick glance at things and then the sliding lock with volume control.

I use two other screens but one just has my full screen HTC Contacts widget and the other has a full screen HTC Calendar widget.

Where can I get that awesome wallpaper?

Do you know anyone that has done this/ posted step by step instructions?

LP resizes the dock icons, so no no matter how big they are, they will be the same size. Some people have been making docks with larger "icons" built into it, then use completely transparent icons

Ok so I think I figured this out - quite an ingenious idea I must admit.

Here is what I got....

The dock design still needs work but I just wanted to throw it up on my DINC and test out how it would look...

I created my own dock with a transparent background and the "icons" that are just the graffiti text embedded on the dock .png. I then changed the actually icons to transparent images so when you click on the text - you are really clicking on the transparent icon.

As you can see in the first and second pics... it works PERFECTLY!

HOWEVER!!!

The LP Dock scrolls (has 3 docks) so when I scroll to my main dock, consisting of my Phone, Email, App Drawer, Txt, Internet... my "created dock" is still behind this.. and looks F**ked UP!! (picture #3)

Is there anyway to fix this? can I create a scrolling dock that will scroll as I scroll the LP dock? Or will I need to drop the graffiti idea because I really love the scrolling LP dock, but LP automatically resizes my icons and makes them too small...

WHAT TO DO???????????

(btw thanks to everyone for all your ideas - this forum is amazing!!)

-also how can i upload my pics so they are bigger? - hope you can see my dock

I was wondering about the docks too. As far as the uploaded pix, I just use ImageShack® - Online Media Hosting to host my pictures. You can make them any size you want there.
