We all know the problems with the "standard" battery on the x-10. No jeremiah's lamentations here!! BUT, what about this hot fangled MUGEN power rated at 3600 mAh selling like hot bread? Is it worth the almost $100 price tag?? Anyone used it? PLease comment. BTW I upgraded to a 2600 mAh Cameron Sino Tech and I can not get more than 1.5 days usage from it!!

I get a day and a half on the stock battery. Have you brought your battery down to zero and than charge it backup and run that cycle a couple of times? I did it for about the first week when I got it and the battery is lasting a lot longer than it did out of the box. When I first got it I could get a 1/2 to 3/4 of a day. Now I get 1 1/2 as previously stated. That is all I need. If I were to do a lot of traveling than I would by another standard battery as a backup. I mean do you really need all of that battery? Wouldn't it just be easier to throw it on the charger or for that matter, when your home or at your desk, run it plugged in, so you don't use the battery. I have mine set that when it is plugged in, the screen stays on the entire time. I like to see my phone, so I keep the screen on almost all day. The only time it goes off is when it is in the case (Belt Case). Than again, if money is no object, heck buy what you want, but I don't think I could justify that expense, just my 2 cents..

**I don't know if you checked out this review on the battery, but here is a link, maybe worth a read: http://www.xperiax10.net/2010/05/06/mugen-power-releases-1800mah-3600mah-batteries-for-xperia-x10/

Gunny,
Thanx for the advice!! I posted here on a procedure of charging the battery. I tried it and it slightly improved the life to perhaps 1 day or so. BTW I keep my phone charging at work and in my car, no prob there. When someone pays $200 for a phone (along with a 2 yr contract), one expects better performance from a battery!! One doesn't need to go through all these hassles to keep the battery charged. I know new droids do more than old phones but for pete's sake SE (and AT&T for that matter!) do not release a phone that its battery cannot last one full day without hassles, that is my gripe!!
