Root Rooted 2.1 keeps force closing sense

Ok, if you still have recovery, which you should you will more than likely have to flash a new rom. I would go to recovery, wipe and partition to fat 32. If you don't know how to do that when you use the partition set them to 0. that will put it back to factory, Now I have a usb micro sdcard reader so I just remove the sdcard and place the zip files on the root of the sdcard that way. Then just flash the xtrsense, and enjoy a way better rom then stock.

That did not work.

Then do the same thing with Vol-down, and see if you get the bootloader menu; from there, you should be able start the recovery menu. (Vol-Up IIRC).

Note that you need to be pressing both buttons down, and continuing to hold both of them down, until the screen lights up. (Press the Vol button down before the End/Power button FIRST to avoid starting up a regular boot).

Again, I'll ask: do you have any Nandroid backups?

You beat me to it, that was my thought. Some methods of the new roots people had to hold vol down to get to recovery.

Go to nand backup restore and then just select nand restore. reboot, but I would wipe first.

He can also just try a "wipe data/factory reset" first; that's sort of the same thing as a "factory reset" on a stock phone (without the de-activation of the phone).

PS Nandroid restore does a wipe first before it recovers any file, so a "wipe" is superfluous when doing Nandroid restores.
