Sorry if this has been discussed to bits, but I have just got home after a 32 flight Oddesy and after performing a serach I did not find what I needed.

I recall someone here mentioning an app that moves all other apps to the SD card, but I cannot remember the name. I will be in your debt if you could help me by naming it. thanks in advance!

I am using SDMove but only a few apps could be moved to SD card. Given the size of 2.2, there's not much space left on the phone to install new apps. So Google, there's no point having the ability to install to card when most apps on the market still do not allow us to install to SD. Once you reach 40mb left, the Desire gets laggy.

Thanks for that. Just a quick question though. I am not so very technically minded. what does this proccess entail? Is there anything I should be aware about with regards to functionality or any perils doing this might entail? Thanks again!

Hey psyxologos. It was me that made the guide ^^. It's really simple to do and isn't technical, as I made it for noobs like me and you. So it explains the complex stuff step by step simply. Try it. It can't do any harm.

With my current ROM (UD8.0) almost every app is able to be moved to the sdcard. I indeed tried this ... but I found that my DROID was not liking it too much. So I moved all the apps back to the internal memory, and all of the lag went away. Coincidence? ... I think not.

The way I see it, if you run out of internal memory ... perhaps you have too many needless apps. ;) Just my 2 cents.

Come on now, this is a bit like
- Oh look, If i hold my phone this way, i lose signal.
- Perhaps you're holding it the wrong way.

It's just HTC trying to punch above their weight, with phones that are not really up there, but are for sale with a huge mark up.
