Root Can Anyone Pls Help Me Root Via Mac?

I've had the LG Ally provided to me through work andam dying to be able to be able to wirelessly tether it to my WiFi iPad..

I'm running on a MacBook Pro and would love guidance on how to root it.

Check the sticky/top threads in the "all things root" forum. Many of the members here have taken their time to type out detailed "how to" guides on everything from rooting to flashing custom ROMs. To root your Ally all you really need to do is download an app called Universal Androot, install it on your phone, click a button, and it will be rooted.

Thanks for the response BMB, I just could've sworn for the longest time that it specifically mattered whether one was running on PC or Mac; in fact, this is what was holding me from doing it for the longest time. In fact, since day one that I got my Lg Ally.
