Help Wow no Unlock Code ??!??!

Yesterday i receive a brand new "newer turned on" Sony Ericsson X10a loked on Rogers so I'm on Fido and i try to unlock it ...Unlock by imei
1- i try swiftunlocks
They send me Unlock Code - 4835145929415781 doesn't work (5 times left )
i try them before with my previous x10a and they were perfect !!!

2-I try mobile in Canada and i get this :
IEMI : 3594200328xxxxx
Operator : rogers
Cellphone : Sony Ericsson xperia X10a
Unlock Code : Not Found

Yes this is my second x10a because i have problem with previous one (just died one night left for charging)...and i have to send it to SONY ERICSSON service center and they send me this one. I have never try rodgers sim card on it i just insert my fido and unlock sim menu just pop up when i start the phone ...

Well imagine

if my understanding is correct

that the ROGERS phone is LOCKED and you can't use your FIDO sim card in it

this is why the unlock menu is popping up

I am no techy person, but could you debrand it from the carrier you don't want and then stick in the sim you do want.

debrand and unlock are 2 different things
debrand in this case is just wallpaper

Why would it if it's locked to them, you need to use your Fido card instead.

BTW remove your IMEI number from your first post.

You've had one, try your Fido simcard instead of a Rogers one, as it's been pointed out as the phone is locked to Rogers it's not going to give you the option.

you tried to unlock the phone and this HAS NOT worked

WHAT ELSE do you expect ??

FIDO sim is useless in your phone, so use ROGERS
