tasker help please

Hi everyone,

Can anyone please help. I work nights and when I am sleeping during the day I put my phone on silent but i would like to be able to allow certain calls from the likes of my wife,childminder,school to ring(ringer has to sound) in case of emergency. I have bought tasker as recommended in the forum but I am completly lost. Can anyone help me set it up?? I need it in simple step by step guides as i've never used this program before.

The wiki example works well for me - SleepMode - just customise the times it is active for and the list of emergency numbers.

I'd recommend following the step by step manual setup as it helps you get an understanding of how to build your own profiles (it helped me when I first started with Tasker).
