Root superfast kernal... please help.

can someone please direct me to where i can get this kernal from? i looked all over the net and the link that tied it to xda is not working. any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance

Stupidfast?

If this is what you are looking for, if you have rom manager go into d/l roms then go to geeknik sf is there. Just make sure you choose the right one for what you are running di01 or dj05

No dj05 is only in irc. And if you are gonna get it you have to flash a new modem and rom

No I have dj05 and run voodoo kernel its all in my signature

Its ok I got so much in my signature its confusing sometimes haha. DJ05 isn't hard but its best to get comfortable with flashing kernels and roms before making that move imo

Anyhow, I'm planning to run Geeknik's StupidFast for DI01, but what's the exit strategy? In other words, if I flash stupidfast, how can I completely remove it? Would a nandroid restore work? Thanks! Slowly trying to get back up to date with everything!

Sorry for the noobness, but what's the clockwork red people are talking about? Is that the modified CWM that enables backups for voodoo?

stupidfast is a nonvoodoo kernel so you can flash anything over it to get rid of it (kernelwise) just be careful in rom manager as the newer stupidfast are DJ05 kernels...not DI01

voodoo5 as of 11/24 i believe has a permament clockwork recovery built into the kernel that is voodoo specific. if allows both backup and restore w/o having to disable or remove voodoo. it also allows you to enable or disable voodoo in recovery and allow system conversion

no, i have flashed things in green when i accidently booted into from rom manager and didnt feel like restarting recovery to get to red

Hi can someone please verify that I have my facts correct here before rooting my SF that is coming tomorrow?

1)install samsung drivers
2)root- one click method
3) install CWR through odin or rom manager? does it matter?
4)backup
5)flash superclean rom
6) is it at this point I flash stupidfast kernal? Do I just do that through rom manager? And Do I get rom manager from the market?

I've been doing lots of reading, but I think my brain just doesn't process this stuff that well,lol. Will doing this fix my possible gps issues or do I need to upgrade to djo5 or whatever??? haha, please excuse my ignorance Thanks to all that feel like helping me out!
