I decided to start a new thread about getting thru AB Seasons.

#8 has me all messed up. I haven't even gotten thru the level once, let alone get 3 stars. Have 3 stars on all the other levels.

I have two stars on it, but not three yet. Worst part is, I'm not really getting a feel for what I need to do to get it.

Do what I did:

The first two birds HAVE to take out the two pigs on the top, and it will likely take out three or four of them. Once those pigs are gone, the last bird has to set off the TNT to take out the rest of them.

You'll likely need to use all three pigs to finish the stage. If you're destructive enough, you can get three stars (my score was over 80k, and I got three stars).

Just got it! Went from 79k to 82840 and got my three stars!

The way I finally got it was to aim for the exposed snow and try to drop the two rocks right there, and the stuff above that gets the top pig. Those upper rocks take out the outer pigs. The second and third birds clean up the back and blow the TNT. I think a higher score is possible, because with everything going perfectly, I THINK it could be done with 2 birds.

On the advanced page, there is an 'H' on the far right of the toolbar. Click it and it adds the HIDE and /HIDE codes.

Just scored 89430 with three stars. Used only two birds.

Aim for the snow block above the left most pig on top. It will break two snow blocks and stuff will fall on outer pigs killing them. Rocks will fall on inside taking out TNT with all pigs (and gift for more points). After this only one pig is left on the top right most side. Take it out with second bird and you have your three stars.

First bird shoot under the two big blocks up top between them and the ice block. That is about all I know on this level.

Day 8 definitely requires some precision.

Start near the top by shooting your yellow bird through a wooden vertical beam, and aim for a spot where it'll carry through and take out as much snow blocks as possible. Depending on how it all falls, your second bird should use the same strategy. If your focus is on taking out snow blocks (because snow blocks don't fall even if there's nothing under it) and letting the stone blocks destroy the rest, then it won't take you long to see where you need to hit. It takes a few tries depending on how everything falls.

Day 9

Today's was pretty easy. Got 92,790

EDIT: Although, saying that, I got 3 stars on my 3rd go. Just had another go and I can't do it again haha. I think I can see how you could do it in 2 birds.

...yea, done it in 2 birds but you only get about 83,000. Best to use about 3-4 birds and destroy as much as you can.

Likewise I can't get the first bird to do the same damage it did when I got 3 stars.

I am 99% certain the first bird has to hit the right triangle on the left side of the rocks/ice at center of screen which will take out all but 1-2 birds (in igloos) if placed just right.

But after that, no matter what I do, I only get 2 stars -- even with a score of 100,270. I'm at a loss for the 3-star solution.

I am 99% certain the first bird has to hit the right triangle on the left side of the rocks/ice at center of screen which will take out all but 1-2 birds (in igloos) if placed just right.

But after that, no matter what I do, I only get 2 stars -- even with a score of 100,270. I'm at a loss for the 3-star solution.

You're on the right track hitting that bit first.

If I remember correctly, I did that once and it took out every pig apart from the one in the far right igloo. Just take him out with the 2nd bird and you should be done.

It's hitting that first bit right though. Just a bit of luck if you get all the stones to fall and take them out.

Well, 99% isn't always right. Check below for how I did it.

Shoot the red bird below the standing stone blocks that are blocking a direct shot at the big pile of ice and stone. If you hit the two snow pieces that it is standing on, it should fall and kill the pig below, as well as the pig on the snow above it. Use your yellow bird to take out the big structure, and that may take care of the rest. If it doesn't, the blue bird will and you'll still have a left over bird.

I just repeated this method and got 109k and three stars and used three birds. See if that works for you.

Here's how I did Day 9 with 93k...

First bird egg bombed just left of the closest pigs (get the snow blocks underneath the structure) so the whole left side collapses. I found it important to leave the tower intact, otherwise ice and stone blocks get in the way for your next couple birds. Rain carnage towards the base of the tower and underneath the structure on the right side with the blue birds. The key here is to destroy as much as you can. The whole tower will collapse during this, as well the right structure will fall taking pigs with it. I then had one pig left and nailed it with the yellow bird. (although I bet with a few more attempts I could have taken them all out with the blue birds)

My first several attempts, I spent too much time trying to drop the tower along with the left structure with the white bird, but found the rubble it leaves gets in the way.

Just tried a few times and can't seem to do it. I've had it almost do it again, it kinda exploded but left 1 or 2 of the pigs on the left.

Is it the ones with the hats that seem to blow up or something?

COuldn't tell you. But I swear the wall stayed intact before the bomb went off. Now it always seems to crack before the bomb goes off.
