So besides the youtube issues, there are so many more with my hero. I thought it would be a good decision switching from the iphone but i am really starting to regret that decision and now im stuck with it for two years (thx sprint)
anytime i try to delete more then three text messages the message app locks up and i have to remove the battery in order to get the phone working again. The phone is incredibly slow even though all my data is stored on a 16gb card. If i try and use the sprint navigation it stats it can not find the server (this is awesome especially when i am traveling). Half the time when i try to slide the screen down to answer phone calls it wont slide to unlock. The weather app never changes to my location either and the keyboard is very laggy.
People keep saying "wait till the update" but i have my doubts that the update will fix any of these issues. Does anyone else have these same problems or am I the lucky one?
i have major issues with mine, mostly no multitasking, or at least very little multitasking, 2 things at once seem to be almost too much for it, the lag is killing me, 7-10 seconds to open things up, switch pages, horrible horrible crap. lag when i dial, lag for call history, lag for hanging up calls, lag for switching between songs playing music, lags and stutters when using bluetooth to stream music, lag lag lag, freezes, soft resets constantly, hard resets , no backing up of things so everything has to be reloaded and set back up manually, which is a pain in the ass once you get things set up, clearing caches, call history, etc etc etc and on and on and on. My version of cdma hero is unrootable without major issues and features not working. Already getting too full message and i only have 9 apps downloaded from the market.
Htc and my carrier both say the phone works as designed..lol, okey dokey...whatever.
oh yea, youtube, not workin...weather app does not update on its own, I also have trouble with slide to unlock, so I miss calls too. One can download 3rd party apps to use instead but it just eats up more and more precious memory and cpu power as the stock apps still have to run. So, it actually makes the problem worse, it is a constant balancing act that gets old everyday, yea i know, with android you can have wallpapers and themes, big whoop, ill forgo the hello kitty themes for a working phone anytime
