I followed the instructions exactly and my install went without any problems. I was nervous about this mod because the instructions seemed like it was going to be hard but it actually wasnt at all.

A New issue with cm7 I found when puting my headphones In the phone shows the little pair of headphones on the notefaction bar on the top bit the music plays through the phones speaker I think it's cm7 cuz when i was running CTmod it worked fine

Quick little note, to anyone having issues:

Make sure to mount the the partitions in CWM (I always do as a precaution, and I have no problems).

Left phone on all night and still did not send mms

But amazingly phone as is im getting 1.3MB/s on 3g with about 300ms ping so yeah love it

Ok so my WIFI is acting up--i know you have to toggle it after new connection, but now it wont even connect---odd or it connects for few seconds then dissconnects

Post what u have installed

One thing I notice about wifi is really wont allow it yo be used on market and surfing I dont use it much but this is what I noticed

And the mms I'm nit sure whys its not working for you guys its working fine for me I haven't had to many issues but this is beta cm7 so if u use almost every feature on a daley bases I would recommended ctmod or stock Ginger bread I use my phone all the time I don't might d flashing. Things to it I wipe out my phone e every 30 days yo clear. Configs and what not

you guys must be doing something wrong the only problems for me is the camera.apk a lot of the settings within the app don't work, camera button opens the camera but wont take a snapshot and when switching to video the white balance is set very high and cant be change.

Settings for me work just fine just the org issues of the button not snapshoting is my problem for that

Try going yo froyo and doing it along with baseband do what rally15 did and then upgrade up to gingerbread then do the cm7 see if that does it I would try but I'm at work

Mine does that all the time, but sometimes it doesn't... I guess it depends on how much it reloads when you reboot

I was reading somewhere about this, I'll try to post a link. But from what I read, the battery will charge to 100% and then will not charge again until the battery drops to 90% at which point it will recharge again to 100% and repeat. (this is not reflected on the gauge in the notification bar) this is why you sometimes experience sharp initial drop in battery. A reboot just allows the gauge to show the actual charge on the battery.

I had these problems as well with wifi. I was able to fix it by flashing a fresh install and hot fix2 and NOT fixing permissions. Wifi works perfectly now.
I am having the mms issues as well. I think I've tried everything but to no avail on this. This may be something hroark might have to address after the holidays. When he has some time again. Not a big issue for me as long as sms works I'm good.

so should i do a factory reset then. the directions are kind of hard for me to understand because you have to look at 2 or 3 different post to get everything.

Got Swype running again. I could not get the version that came with the Prevail to work with CM 7.1

I have read that Swype Beta is better anyway, so I went to their website and registered. Awesome!

It is probably on this thread somewhere, but do you have to do anything special to get MMS to work over WIFI? I am at work, which is the first chance I have had to test that. If I send a text, it just stays on Sending. Phone is in Airplane mode with WIFI on.
