Help Huawei u9000 nero, Please help me get gingerbread.

Hi.

I need help. Ive tried everything i can think of. But it dont work.

The phone is bought in Norway. Huawei u9000 Nero. And just got the message that this phone wont get android 2.3 because its a issue with the front camera when using 2.3.
I dont care. I want to update.

It has been rooted. and ive tried installing With Firmware.nb0 and update. (just got the messege that the rom didnt fit. or something.)
Tried with wellcoms and spice mi410 roms.

Ive tried everything i have read about.

So I ask you good people out there. Help me.

Is there anyone who can take me through this step by step. Would really appreciate it. Maybe give me any urls leading me to the right direction.
