Hi,
Well the problem which I have is that : - Ive got a Google G1 Which is on T-mobile Network.
Well the problem Ive got is ive inserted my New T-mobile simcard ? And it seems to not work ? When i try to dial out the call just ends.
I get a Msg Ongoing - Says "Call forwarding"
Forwarding all Calls
When I go to settings - Call Settings - Call forwarding I get a Msg saying Network or SIM card error. "This was a brand new simcard aswell"
I've also called T-mobile customer care they tell me that the mobile is blocked ?
Ive emailed HTC Support they have told me the the firmware is corrupt, And asked me to do the following:
To perform the reset:
1. Turn the device off
2. Press and hold the Home Button and the Power button for about 20 seconds until you see a picture of an Excamation mark and a handset. Slide open the keyboard.
3. Press Alt and L to display the text
4. Press Alt and W to perform the hard reset
5. Once the hard reset process has finished press the Home and Back keys together to reboot the device.
Ive done what HTC have told me to do that didnt still work?
But I've notice when I tryed going into the: Android system recovery utility
Right at the bottom of the screen in yellow font, there is a message saying
E:Can't open /cache/recovery/command
The firmware I have is 1.5
