Ya on the stock froyo rom and cm7 the bottom left of my screen doesn't respond to touch..so i can't press anything,but when i flash some other roms like cm9 it will work

Sounds like a hardware issue. If you flash the stock rom I take it it's the same?

Ya sorry the stock vm rom..it just sucks cause i like the work u guys have been doin with cm7,sometimes i just deal with it but its annoying so usually flash a cm9 based rom..i appreciate u getting back to me and letting me know ur thoughts

Definately sounds like hardware.. in that case.. slim chance it might just be a loose connection. I think the digitzer is part of the glass.. so you could follow the same guide like replacing the screen. I did it on a few intercepts.. never the triumph. Its not super easy but not that hard either. If you don't want to do it.. I woukld suggest selling it broken on ebay. You can probably get near 100 dollars since people will buy it to refurbish. Just an estimate. I just bought one for $120.. even if you sell it for $50.. it woulod be worth it ipo. I've also screwed up parts of phones trying to fix them myself. Its very stressful since you have to be so areful and delicate. Good luck.

Anytime! The other thing is call VM and see is it's still under warranty and get a replacement. VM is really good about getting replacements out, I am actually in the middle of a replacement with them. The first one they sent me doesn't boot so another one should be here today. Not the best situation but VM has pretty good support considering it's a pay as you go service.

Ya i was thinking bout gettin a replacement too,just didn't really wanna go through the bullshit and wonder what kinda shape the phone they send me is gonna be in..u know what i mean,when u do that do u have to send ur phone to em?
and i don't really know how to replace the screen and stuff like that so i don't know

Actually I would recommend installing the MTDEV-UNROOT and call VM support and explain the problem. They will then transfer you to tech support. Support will then have you wipe the phone more than likely then test the problem again. After you tell them it's still not working they will over night a replacement. You move into the new phone and send back the old one with the return label. So the only pain is rerooting the phone and waiting for the new phone. Nothing out of your pocket except time. I find if you call in the early AM you can get through tech support in about 1-2 minutes in the PM about 8-10.

Go with calling VM over what I said. I had a problem with my intercept.. samsung had me send it in for a repai and it took about a month. Then the phone still wasn't fixed so I called VM and they mailed me a replacement within a day. I was surprised a prepaid carrier was so helpful. Even though talking to tech support can be annoying.. sometimes you have to keep calling until they help you.
