Answer to your question is yes.
How are your PC's connected to your network?
My home network consists of a wired router, two computers, a Logitech Revue Google TV device, which is also hard wired to the router, and two Galaxy Tabs.
As the tablets are wi-fi only, I needed a wireless access point, so I installed an Apple Airport Express.
The rest was easy. Turn on the tab, let it scan and display available wi-fi networks, select and sign on to my network.
After setting up sharing on the computers, both computers can now access both tabs, and both tabs can access both computers. The Logitech Revue can also access the computers and the tabs.

Ok, in wi-fi settings on your tab, select your wireless network and sign on.
That should be all you have to do.

My router tells me
IP Address: 192.168.1.106
Client Name: android-54607ffcd194xxxx
MAC Address: 58-C3-8B-6D-XX-XX
Lease Time: 01:45:35

Yet it will not show up in windows explorer in my home network.

I installed Samba file sharing on my tablet and am now able to see the internal memory of the tablet on my home network but not the SD card installed.

I have a samsung pad 7500. Its connected wireless to my router and the internet but I cant see the pad on my homecomputer.
The home computer with windows 8 and wired connected to the router;
can someone tell me what I can do?

I am not familiar with a Samsung 7500 pad but you may look into installing Samba file sharing
