Root unable to open root apps?

hi im new i rooted the hydro but i cant open any root apps. did i do somthing wrong. and when i rooted it it asked for the encryption password i rooted it without it, then itryed again putting any password . isthat ok help if you can everything else works great

Download root checker from the Play Store and make sure that you actually do have root access.

When it asks you for the password don't put anything, just hit "Restore my data" the phone reboots and you should be rooted.

I used v17 but i noticed that YES i have SuperSU and YES it rooted BUT,when i used an app that needed root access it would freeze up..and bug up and root apps wouldnt work..(Heres why)its a full root but you need to go into the app drawer and open supersu and then go to options and have it AUTOMATICALLY GRANT ROOT ACCESS,also turn off the ACCESS SPLASH SCREEN THAT IS SUPPOSED TO POP UP.i noticed thats why it glithed because the screen wouldnt pop up to let you choose grant access.

Yeah but if you do it that way all apps have root permission bad idea without recovery

check the log in superSU
some functions required superSU be purchased (log told me this)
i bought it for 99 cents, and POOF it worked
