Na in all seriousness though this is actually a nice idea for 18+ apps and the android market that should be implemented. Two app stores, one that's optional, that way the dirty things can be filtered out if the person so chooses.

Because face it, the droid probably has a vast majority of minors like myself with it, and also some people just don't care for porn.

googleing "Steve Jobs and Iphone on android" to see just how much the android market is taking a bite out of the Iphone and you will find anything. I was amazed at how they have changed their minds about android as being competition now.

now he is out pointing fingers, but like the articles I read from the reporter that Steve Jobs pointed the porn app out to, the reporter responded to Steve that the Iphone users don't need an app to find porn all they need is the Iphone and a browser.

My local news covered this. As soon as they did a teaser and said the maker of the iPhone is telling its users to take a hike I said this is going to be Jobs talking about porn. Sure enough it was. But what got me was that the news reported that there was a special section on the Android market for porn. I don't remember if they said Apple said this or what but I could see a slander suit coming out of this.

I think its pretty obvious whats happening now. The patent law suit route didn't work. The iPad isn't going to escape Android and honestly after seeing Google I/O yesterday the iPad is made obsolete by HTML 5. All the signs point to Android overtaking the iPhone and basically becoming THE consumer smartphone platform. So now he's tossing out anything he thinks he can to stop it like this porn crap. Sorry but I don't think sales are going to drop behind porn. Nobodies thinking about that when they walk into the store and look at Android phones. The last effort will be the Verizon iPhone but I think even that will be to little to late.
