If it was really going to be for the 15'th of this month, I'd sure think it would have been announced by now. I keep reading about the dates in Europe and parts of Asia, but can't find anything on this side of the pond. Anybody else?

Amazon (UK) and Clove website state that HTC One has been delayed to Fri 29th March. So a 2 week delay basically.
Looks like the rumours of component shortages may have been true. Really disappointed this has happened. I refuse to believe HTC couldn't have foreseen this way in advance.
I was going to pre-order this but won't bother now. May as well wait to see what Samsung are going to announce on Thursday.

Asian stock analyst said there were low-yield issues for the camera sensor and the motor - and he has a good track record, so everyone is calling that golden.
That said - his great track record is built up around giving positive buying advice and correct predictions about Apple's exciting breakthroughs - so - you know.
He may be right.
We may also want to start buying stock in passed salt, too.
And some reports are saying April for the US.
Ah I didn't read the actual post on there. Interesting that it's the camera sensor.
This is somewhat carrier-dependent, so I've merged this with the price/carrier thread - nothing personal.
No problem.
I can live with the delay, I'd just like to have a firm date. I emailed HTC earlier and they said the same as you, that it's carrier dependent. I took that as BS, though, as the carries are going to release them as soon as HTC gets the units to them.
Also looks like it might be coming to Verizon after all, just a couple months later. Will that be too late?
And, not sure - maybe we'll change the thread title or shift something.
The Dev One is peripherally related to a launch delay, which, many don't seem to be sweating at the moment.
Good question!
That's the story about component shortages that was circulating last week. We'll see.
