Fresh 2.0d is a little laggy

not sure if i did anything wrong, but it appears my hero isn't running as quick/smooth as others on here after flashing with fresh 2.0d.

also, the battery life isn't much noticeably better for me...

are there any settings/tweaks i need to take care of?
for what its worth, i attempted to set autokiller to aggressive, but it doesn't do anything - i just end up having to force close it.

I get great usage out of mine as well.. yesterday, made a few calls, nothing over 10 minutes per call (4 calls..) sent and received about 40 texts. checked a couple webpages.. checked weather.. after 15 hours of use, I still had 60% of my charge remaining. that's normal for me.. but I do have an Airave and have 6 bars in my house..
been unplugged for 2 hours, and i'm at 67% battery life.

i've been in class for an hour and a half of that, not using it at all.

i think the battery life is worse with fresh, and like i said, i find it more laggy than stock 1.5...

any suggestions?

have you setup autokiller? if not, set it for either moderate or aggressive (I use aggressive settings). make sure you don't have Setcpu or overclock widget installed. both will cause slowness.

as far as battery life.. what kind of signal do you have? a lot of schools get very poor signal due to the construction of the building. if you get 1 bar, or if you have a high TWS (Time Without Signal) you will eat up more battery due to the phone trying to boost it's power to reach a signal.

to check TWS, go to menu>settings>about phone>Battery>Battery Use>Cell Standby you can also see if anything is running and using a lot of CPU time from menu>settings>about phone>Battery>Battery Use

or download spare parts from the market and see what is using most of the CPU or battery

autokiller wont' run on my phone for some reason. it will open, i'll try to click aggressive, and it will go to a black screen that says "SU Request" in the top left corner...and it just sits there until i force close.

as for the weak signal, that was definitely it. i was in the basement of the building during that class and typically get a very weak signal.

what do you think would be causing autokiller to do that?
