Help Syncing with Win7 via Bluetooth problem

Anyone else has problems syncing to his computer win7 via bluetooth?

I somehow manage to pair the phone and PC but HTC Sync doesn't do anything. Should I set any ports or something?

nope no problems at all just depends what you want to do
pair the desire with your windows 7 PC:
then:
go to your bluetooth devices:

then chose desire from your paired devices:

then chose to whatever you want to do with your desire (options 1 and 2):

Hi pil0t, I'm having a similar issue. I can full connect my droid to my samsung netbook running Windows 7 starter edition with no problems. I have however just tried to connect to another laptop in the house running windows 7 ultimate and i get the message that the phone is paired but when i try to connect I get a message stating "bluetooth headset disconnected" is this what you are getting? if anybody out there has any ideas on solving this problem please let us know. Thanks

@playing_hooky: No, i see that it is paired but not connected.

I don't know what is the problem. My Nokia was able to connect easily on the Win7 and the same drivers but HTC cannot.

Is it possible that i should set ports to sync with HTC Sync? Which ports is HTC Sync listening?

@gie62001, no i get stucked at the second step you wrote. The device does not show as connected although it is paired.
