Help Weather/Clock Widget Problem

I have a similar problem and it is a known issue. I get the no weather data available when my location is determined by Network/GPS. My home location is Bromley and I get nothing. The data is there because when I specify Bromley and type it in it comes up. Using the my location option works just about everywhere except the place where I initially set it up, i.e. my home area. Weird.

In the end I just bought the beautiful widgets app which correctly shows my hometown using "my location". It also works properly in determining my loction as I move around.

i've had it not display data when i go from wifi to mobile internet and vice versa. i think it may be when it loses connection when it tries to sync.

just refreshing the current location fixes it for me ... or is that a different problem from the one you're getting?

The problem sounds similar, mate. It just stopped displaying the weather when I turned wireless mode off and it won't come back.

I've tried refreshing my current location and it doesn't work - it just says "No weather data available".

Sound like that known bug. I had it when I got my Desire. I think the widget sometimes gets stuck in a state where it can't update properly. I think its fixed in the new ROM.

Basically delete the widget and add a new one then manually set the default location for now.

If you want to replace it then I am using Fancy Widgets on ADW launcher, no animation but it seems to work flawlessly.

I've done as you suggested for now. I've set the clock to display the weather for "Luton", but it will be Luton all the time, rather than Luton via "Current Location".

I'll see if anything changes when I am next out of town. I'll switch it back to current location and see if anything changes.
