Yes but remember to pre-order immediately. Look what happened with the DI. I got mine FedEx on the exact day it was released nationwide.

Maybe not sure because I know that my cousin pre-ordered is iPhone 4 and it came yesterday a day before the release of the phone. But most likely we will get it the day of the release or if we are lucky a day before the release.

I'm taking that with a grain of salt, however I did take the 15th and 16th off of work.... I have the days to burn

Man I hope they do pre orders, I have been waiting two weeks for my Incredible and they claim it will ship July 12. I am just about ready to pull the trigger and cancel the incredible for the X.
I would really like to see a good battery test for the X though, as we know the incredible's battery life is not incredible.

I tried cancelling my Dinc and they told me I had to wait for it to show up and refuse the package when its delivered before I could do anything.

What! That is the biggest load of crap, I hope they do not tell me that. If so I will have to threaten them of leaving and taking all 5 of my lines with me, all are out of contract or still with in the 30 days. I am already upset enough about having to wait so long for the incredible, but maybe that was a good thing b/c now I can get the X.

The Droid Incredible went up for pre-order on April 19th and a release date of the 29th. That's 10 days. I would expect that it would be about the same for Droid X. However, I did receive my Incredible on the 26th due to a shipping error on Verizon's part. So maybe we can hope that the Droid X is shipped early too.
