Accessories Connecting Nexus GamePad to other Android TVs

Hi

First of I bought an Android TV-box (called GoAllTV to be specific) and soon thereafter I bought the Nexus Player and Nexus GamePad.

Finding out that the Nexus Player doesn't have that many apps not to mention games, I tried removing the pairing between the Nexus Player and the Nexus GamePad. Since my other Android TV-box has Bluetooth I figured I could pair that with the gamepad. However I can't find my gamepad when searching since I don't know how to put it into pair mode for third party Android TV-boxes. Only the Nexus Player is shown when I search for Bluetooth devices from my other Android TV-box.

Does anyone know how to solve that problem?
