4g down ---- voice prompts out loud

Hi all,
So I have the Maxx, nice phone. I have a problem when I might have my phone in my pocket, be in the basement, and such and a female voice will say "Verizon Wireless". I am assuming there is a prompt when I lose or downgrade data speeds.

Is there a setting to turn this speech off?

I believe its supposed to just be some kind of tone when the connection is lost. But can try going into your settings and sound and see if the box to alert when connection is let is checked or not.

System Settings, Sound, close to the bottom of the list you will find "Network lost tone" & "Roaming tone". I would un-check both of them.
