all my applications are deleted after emptying internal phone memory!!! Help

im new to android, I have a HTC Hero, few weeks ago i started installing different applications after a while it i got the error message about low internal memory, I played with the phone a little and deleted somethings, but now many of the application donot work but their icon are still showing up. but when i try to open them.
some software like google sky, notepad have disappeared. how can i get my phone back to the way it was before. i did a factory default data reset. but no help. please help me to get all my previews applications back.

You're going to have to reinstall them unless you took a back up - were the icons left on the desktop/scene/home screen/whatever you want to call it? Yet they were uninstalled?

factory reset deletes all on internal memoery and returns it back to box state...
