Android version: 2.3.4
Phone: Sony Ericsson Live With Walkman

If I use Settings --> Applications --> "Manage applications" --> <application name> --> "Move to SD card" to move an application to the SD card, Which directory on the SD card will be used for storing that application?

The folder '.android_secure' on the SD card.
It's a hidden folder, you have to set up your file manager to see hidden folders.
With a file manager like EStrongs File Explorer you can do that.

Thanks for the reply. But weird, I moved Adobe Reader to SD card and used File Manager ( https://market.android.com/details?id=com.rhmsoft.fm&hl=en ) to view the content of ".android_secure", nothing inside that directory.

You are right, my android_secure folder is empty too! And I know that I have apps on the SD card.

As I remember, with my old HTC Desire, there was files in this folder
Maybe an Android's change of method?

I know that at Android/data/ on the SD card the apps hold their data (dictionaries, maps etc.).
So maybe there also are parts of their sources, but that is just a guess :)
