I just watched it. I like the acting. I like the soundtrack. Plot is interesting, just hope it's not going to stick to same idea of finding some criminal every episode and getting rid of them, I hope there will be more parallel stories development too. I think they need to work on few plot holes and it's might make a great show.

ok... explain the concept to me..

he is a master criminal.. wanted by all.. for working behinds the crimes around the world. The CIA have him.. but they let him walk around.. free .. do anything he wants.. go any where.. still pull strings for crime.

all that.. so that he might give some info .. lead.. to other crimes?

Kinda sorta, he bullied them into a immunity deal during one of the early episodes... his info is/was that good. so yes...

I think it works. love the show

they can not give full immunity for everything.. all crimes in the past.. and current .. and future!!!!

bugs me like a gun fight...
guns never run out of bullets..
bullets only hit .. not talking characters...
bullets only hit .. the thin metal rails (like on stair rails).. so that people can hide behind them..
unarmed people .. run past guns on the ground and pick up sticks...
the hero lets the bad guy live.. because of his moral code.. but can shot and kill non-talking characters..

Have you watched "Catch me if you can". Leonardo de'Caprio's character gets released from the jail to help FBI fight the crimes, because he is an expert. Movie is actually based on true story. Yes, it's highly unlikely for a top wanted criminal to work for government, but it has happened in past and it's pretty realistic.

Sure..a one time situation.. to catch a particular criminal.
And under full surveillance at all times

Not full immunity to run all over the world..do anything he wants

Ok ..show is good so far
But that one point bothers me

FBI hires criminals, they hired hackers, because they are best at their jobs. Guy in the series delivers his promise with every criminal he reveals. I'm sure at some point in the show they are going to take it away from him and throw him into jail again. He helps to arrest an extremely dangerous criminals. Don't forget that he has GPS chip inside of his body. Every show has some flaws, but come on...., you are being too picky.

Take Snowden, for instance, he is a very dangerous criminal, but he walks around Russia (sort of) freely and that's probably because it's beneficial for Russia. He is a worldwide criminal with an immunity.

Snowden is not a good example .. he is not wanted by Russia.. the country he is running around in..

the GPS tracker.. He took it out.. and gave it to his friend.
and now he is not being tracked.

FBI hires ex-criminals.. they have paid their punishment for crimes.
or they do not have enough proof to convect them.

again..
i do enjoy the show... and this is just one point of the show.. that bothers me.
gald it dont bother u

Snowden already got a job in Russia, it might turn him into Russian immigrant. Check latest news.

FBI did not know he took gps out of him. If FBI does not have proof to convict you of crime there is no way to push you into working with them. They might threaten individual and give them choice to either push charges or join them.

It's actually a practice of US military, they pull some kids out if they have some minor charges.

Snowden is NOT wanted in Russia.. they DONT want to hold him for anything.. so he can work, play, run around all he wants in RUSSIA. NOT a good example. He is NOT helping them with any crimals cases.. or is expected to commit any crimes in RUSSIA or any other country!!!

FBI.. at the end of the first show. they knew he had taken the GPS out of his body.
He was one of the top most wanted criminals on their list. so they had plenty of proof. EVEN if the criminal is given a choice to join FBI case.. they do not get to keep doing crimes!!!

My point with Snowden was that he gets to walk around, he probably gave Russia a few heads up NSA spying on them anyway. He is a dangerous criminal who gets to walk around, Russia knows that, now how many people out there who we don't know about I'm pretty sure there are "criminal" informants out there who help FBI. Another good example would be Adrian Lamo who gets to walk away because he gave away Manning. He was not an FBI volunteer, but he got to walk away.

We do not know intentions of the guy from Blacklist. Maybe he was about to get caught that's why he turned himself in. So far he's been helpful to FBI and it's printed in any newspaper that "dangerous criminal walks around unpunished", only small group of people know that. I know the story is not perfect but it makes good sense.

So did dexter was not the great forensics specialist either the killer.
So did Breaking bad has too many plot holes, especially about cancer.
It's a show, it's not supposed to be perfect, if it was according to FBI books show would not have existed then.
