Buying a smartphone

Ok, my vodafone smart is looking really dated.
I have a few phones that I was wondering about
Sony xperia p and u
LG optimus L7
huawei G300

I would mainly use it for music, internet, and games. I know there is quite a lot of variation in the pricing, but still. What do you guys think?

I'd pick the Sony with the expandable storage, or the Galaxy Ace 2 (same price as the Sony).

do you mean the xperia sola? Neither the p nor the u has expandable storage.

Galaxy S3... Expensive but you will have an amzing gaming experience.

I can't afford a S3. A top end smartphone is out of the question. Also, the games I'd be playing wouldn't be the highest end games, more casual games (angry birds, temple run).

The S2 has been out for a while, which should translate to some pretty reasonable prices now.
It's a fantastic phone, and probably much cheaper than the S3.

The G300 is a nice handset, and is certainly a step up from the ace2 that somebody mentioned, The lack of removable storage on the sony's was a deal killer for me, and so that ruled them out.

I don't know about the L7, but i'm certainly happy with my g300. Its still on gingerbread, but voda a (still) about to release the official ICS update.

Yes I meant the Sola. its a nice phone with solid specs for the price.

Ok, I might run with the sola. NFC is a nice addition. Not to worried about speed, as I'm coming up from a vodafone 858, so almost anything will fell like a high speed wonder to me
