contacts backup

hello all
i have been backed up my contacs by htc sync to ms outlook but when i did factory setting to my device and reserve my contacts i see not all contacts i have been added to my device is copied, so i lost alot of contacs
what should i do

Hi Fedail,

Log into your Google Account (gmail), Google auto backups your contacts. Find the 'Contact' tab and there's an option to port the information back to your phone. I haven't used it in a while so can't give you anymore detail instruction.

Hope you get all of your contacts back.

On the same contacts topic, I moved all my contacts from Google to phone because I didn't like how google always downloaded low res profile pics. I can export those contacts to SD to back them up but I think that method doesn't copy profile pictures at all. Am I wrong and is there a way to back up *only* contacts with the high res profile pics?
