Data usage and call usage info

Hi guys,

My old man is having problems with Virgin Mobile Aus with his call credits and data usage.

A quick flick through the internet finds he is not alone.

Im not sure if this is an android thread or galaxy s2 thread but what I would like to know is....

Is there a way for him to check his "calls made" minutes and his "data used" per month.

I had an iphone and Data Usage was very easy to check.

Virgin do not accept 3rd party apps to do this either.

Is there a way either through the android system or Galaxy s2 phone to have a clear way of finding out for example...

you have made 325 minutes so far this month

you have used 1.3 gig of data


I would really like to try and have a guide before what I see as a big problem in the future with this carrier.

You can check the data used by going into Settings > Wireless & Networks > Data Usage


I really do not think there is a way to monitor your minutes unless you get an app.
