Dropbox Just Put All Your Photos in One Place

Doesn't say if it will take everything out of already organized folders.

Anyone know?

It seems that story was written January '13. So far, mine is setup the way it has always been. I hope they leave it alone, as far as mine is concerned. It does upload all files to an upload folder.

I have used dropbox. It keeps ur organised folders as u have kept.But it will put all ur folders under 1 new folder. Thanx

(I'd start a new thread, but the title of this one is so generic about Dropbox, it just makes sense to me to put my question here as a continuation of the Dropbox discussion in general.)

I already have Dropbox on my pc and I just downloaded it to my Android cell phone. Is there a way I can sync my games (which are already on my cell) to my other devices, so I can continue my progress whether I'm on my cell or my tablet?

My guess is that is application specific. You would have to check each game to see if there is an option to choose the save location. If there is then choose a folder in Dropbox (create one if you wish). Choose this location on each device and you should be ok.

Also, any games that require a login like role playing games or draw something should save your progress regardless of which device you use

Do you know of any file-sharing programs similar to Dropbox which will allow me to share not from a pre-designated root folder, but to share whichever files/folders I want regardless of their location?

i think if you use an app like ES File Explorer, you can find then long-press on any file, tap "share" and select Dropbox (if its installed)

Edit: you have to be rooted to get into all the good stuff obviously :thumbup:

FolderSync does work with most cloud storage apps. I use it too. But I also use DropSync specifically for Dropbox. It's designed specifically for Dropbox and Is a lot faster than FolderSync.
