Help email stopped syncing

In addition to my gmail account, I have an aol account on my DInc2. My aol acount stopped syncing as of December 13 - it shows no email since then in my inbox.

I just tried sending an email from that account, and it sent it without a problem (it also showed up in the Sent folder).

I guess I should try deleting the account from the device and then re-installing it, but I'm wondering what happened...
