Help Facebook for HTC Sense and the Phone Book and Linking

Well, that's funny because I was actually ASKING the question because I didn't know myself. LOL
I wasn't sure how this would affect anything else.
I just removed the account as well. I don't want all that birthday crap and stuff on my phone anyway. I think it affects Friend Stream but I don't use that anyway.

Hello everybody,

This topic exactly describes my problem! I want to sync the persons I have in ''people'' with Facebook, but that does not mean I want all the telephonenumbers from people when I tab ''phone'' at the home screen.

So, topicstarter, did you fix the problem?
I like to use Facebook, but only for the contacts in the ''people''-list. Then why does my HTC Sensation put all the contacts in the ''phone''-list? It also suggests names when I want to send a sms-message.

I know that deleting both the Facebook- and Facebook For HTC Sense-account deletes the contacts from Facebook, but that does mean that:

a) the persons who are already in ''people'' aren't synced, which means that their photo's aren't refreshed (something I like),
b) I can't use the Facebook-app.

Is there a fix already?

i have a htc my touch 4g slide. i was having same problems but i figured it out.go to contacts/menu/view/check only with phone numbers then go to facebook for htc sense and uncheck that one and all people.that should do it i believe it worked for me.good luck all.
