Galaxy S3 (4.1.2) WiFi Problems

Hello
Here is my problem. To get wifi to work, I have to turn off mobile data and restart the phone. Then it will recognize the active wifi. If I turn mobile data back on (and have wifi active at the same time) Applications will use data from the mobile connection.
Has anyone else had this problem? Not sure when it started...I noticed by accident while checking modible data usage.

Hello and welcome to the forums. I see your android device causing you trouble . First i need some information . Is this device rooted or mod in anyway . When was the last time you done a factory reset to the device .

Hi, Thanks for the reply. It is not rooted or modified, the only "big thing" I did was install an app called Aviate which organizes all the apps and changes the layout a bit. I know this problem may be fixable by doing a factory reset. I was hoping to avoid that though.

Nahhh only if you was rooted but the wifi is a big part of android so it will be a resetting you would need to do to repair this
