Hi guys,

My first post here, cannot find anything on Google....

So.... I'm wondering if something is wrong with the Lollipop update I got today (from 4.4) on my Samsung Galaxy S5 with Bell Mobility (Canada).

My notification bar is nothing like what I saw in screenshots from multiple websites. For instance, with only one pull down (one finger), I still see the parameters buttons (i.e. Bluetooth, wifi, etc), and I DON'T see the "users" icon. In the top right corner is still the same icon/button to access all the shortcuts.

Yes, I can see that this is really different from previous versions....

But am I not supposed to be able to switch users, and not see the shortcuts with only one pull down?

Is there something I am missing? Is it GS5 specific? Is it Bell specific? Do I need to do something to have this notification bar?

Thanks a lot!

Jessy.

Hi Jessy, and welcome to the forum :)

As this is specifically about a particular phone's update, and probably a particular carrier's version of that update, I've moved the thread to our Galaxy S5 forum. That way it should be seen by more S5 owners, and hence you've more chance of someone who knows the answer reading it.

With an S5 you'll get Samsung's version of Lollipop, which will be modified by Samsung and so look different from the Nexus version, which is what that last image is showing. The multi-user feature is normal on tablets, not so much on phones. So my guess is that what you have here is normal for an S5 running 5.0, but I'm hoping someone here who actually owns an S5 can give a more definite answer.
