Help Get rid of S Planner without rooting the phone, how?

Hey forum,

I have a Galaxy Note 3 running unrooted Lollipop 5.0
Between the Samsung's preinstalled S Planner app and Google Calendar, I prefer Google Calendar by far.
My problem is I get duplicate notifications at the time of an event, one from S Planner and one from Google Calendar, interrupting each other so that sometimes I miss the notification all together. In short, I want S Planner to leave me alone.
This has been an unresolved issue for a very long time now (see related posts below), and I can't understand why Samsung hasn't fixed it yet.
Is there a way I can permanently solve this?
Can I revoke permissions from a stock app without root access and shady apps, like using a debugger and Android Studio, or by other means?

Things I've tried
- Attempt to disable S Planner
I can't do it. The options to Disable and Show Notifications are grayed out.

- In the settings for S Planner, changing the Select alert type option from Status bar notifications to Off
These settings are always reset on a reboot, and sometimes during normal operation (my guess is if the app crashes or gets reinitialized for other reasons)

- In S Planner Settings, unchecking the boxes of the Google calendars so they won't sync with S Planner
These changes also affect the Google Calendar app. Syncing them again from Google Calendar has the same effect on S Planner.

Things I haven't tried, and don't want to try
- Rooting the phone
- Taking a Samsung executive hostage

Hey Samsung ... I Need Help deleting S Panner
I have done everything Traho has done and pleaded with anyone who will listen to help me dump this app and it's associated repetious notifications that will not stop.
Option 1 is to get a solution here or private message or
Option 2 is to return this S7 back to the store and get my money back and buy something else.

So Samsung .... Listen UP. There are multiple complaints from other trying to delete this S Planner on this and other forums, so if you DO NOT care about your customers, your customers can get Samsung's name in the news for things that are not related to product blowing up.

I am pleading with you to provide a solution on how to delete this app.
