Help gmail problem

I did a baaaad thing: I temporarily(I thought) disabled Gmal on my wife's phone! Now I'm up the creek without the semblance of a paddle. I can't get Google Play or any other Google related program; I can't retrieve Gmail because I can't access Google Play to download it!!! There is no remnant of Gmail on the phone that I can work with.

What do I do now. I need the Gmail. Where can I get it downloaded to my wife's phone before she realizes it and ....

What did you do to disable gmail? Disabling gmail (not sure how you did that) should not affect your ability to get to Play or internet.

solved: Just went into App Mgr (which I used to disable) all the way past the enabled apps and found the disabled ones. Then enabled and everything was solved
