I'm heading to the UK and Ireland with my Droid. I've got a Google Voice account, I've installed Fring, I also have a Skype account. And I'll have WiFi everywhere I go.

How the heck do I make a free intl call with this stuff? I can certainly call a Skype account if the recipient is sitting at their computer. But can I call a phone for free? Or receive calls for free?

Thanks for the help. Leaving in 24 hours, I waited too long to figure this stuff out!

I believe Google voice is not available in the UK, as for Skype if you want to call a land line or mobile phone you will have to buy Skype credit which I beleive is alot cheaper than phoning direct from your mobile phone network when abroad.

For those in a similar situation - I turned on Airplane mode, and used Wifi with Fring (via Skype with a cheap $3 paid subscription) to make my calls. Worked PERFECTLY. Thanks!
