I have a GT-I9000 on T-mobile UK running gingerbread.xxjvo
I want to do an OS update but I am getting nowhere. It amazes me how shite Samsun are at time with their software and support
Anyway, I have done a factory reset
I can connect the phone fine to KIES (latest version)
I run the update and it just fails, eventually my PC running windows 7 64bit asked to install KIES and fails
I have also tried via KIES mini,
I install KIES mini and when I run it it asks to do an update but stops due to an extract error
It then opens KIES mini but I can't get it to see the phone under any circumstances
what do people think of this?
will this give me a standard stable OS on the phone and will it work?
