Having a spot of bother getting the PC to see the Note

Hi guys,

In the past, when I have connected the Note to a PC/Lappy, I have had a choice of if I just wanted it to charge or if I should mount it as drive.
Overnight it appears that I can't do this anymore. Anyone know why before I start delving into settings and all that jazz?

Read a few old threads but there appear to be a couple of camps, 1) It's an ICS thing or 2) A driver/debug thing.

I'm not convinced either way to be fair. It has been fine since I updated to ICS (About a month?)
Why suddenly change? Any ideas.

Unrooted, running GO Launcher EX (Not that that should make any difference)

have you rebooted pc, swapped cables AND USB ports? ie, tried the first-things-first troubleshooting items?

Just in case you've not tried this:

Go to settings and click More... click USB utilities. click Connect storage to pc.

Connect your data cable to the phone and your pc and then click Turn on USB storage.
