Help Help!! Broken beyond repair HTC Desire S Screen messages etc.. please read

Hi everyone

I would really appreciate any help anyone can offer on this...

I have/had an HTC desire s mobile and it has been smashed to peices it is beyond repair...the problem is I am trying to get my contacts off the phone and also text messages I had an 8gb card on it and was hoping some of it would be saved on there but no such luck...because the screen is smashed when i connect it to my pc it is on "charge only" and cant be used as a removable device to therefore cant get any information from it.

I know this is a big ask but if anyone can help on this it would help my life out so much

Try putting your SD card in a card reader. Your contact data should be synced with your google mail account.
