Help: WiFi times out after sleep mode

I have a D-Link 655 wireless router. Everytime my phone (Dell Streak) goes into sleep mode it seems to time out and wont connect, even though the WiFi status shows "connected" to my router. In order to get it working again, I have to manually turn off and turn on WiFi. This has been going on for months now and is driving me crazy. No other router gives me this issue, just my D-Link.

Anyone else with this issue and knows how to solve it? (apart from getting a new router)

If I had to guess, I'd blame the security settings on your router. Try WPA instead of WEP, or vice versa.
