Help with email settings for sending via 3GSupport

    Hi all,

    I hope someone can help as I have tried everything I know to sort this.

    I use a POP email (btconnect).

    When I am connected via Wifi I can send emails without any problem.

    When there is no Wifi and I only have a 3G signal I cannot get emails to send. I keep getting the error message that the email cannot be sent as the settings are incorrect.

    Any advice or suggestions.

    Do you have the correct apn settings?

    I suspect BT only lets you send outbound email if connected to them to prevent spammers. I guess what setting you use depend on your network. I have changed mine to use Vodafone360 as I'm with them.. now I can send email anytime.
