Root Help with wifi tether

I just flashed DC 3.2.3 earlier today via rom manager. I wanted to use my wifi tether but every time I try to turn on the tether it force closes. I would try to uninstall and reinstall it but with DC it is protected. Does anyone know how I could fix this, and if it involved uninstalling and reinstalling it, would it be safe since its part of the rom, and how would I go about uninstalling it?
