Just saying "HI". Rooted my Samsung Fascinate last night to Jellybean 4.2.2 using Baked ROM. Worked like a charm ! Rooted device using SU 2.3.6.1 and used Titanium backup and all of my stuff came back. Tried 2 weeks ago with another ROM and messed up my phone. Thank goodness for Odin, cwm, atlas and stock GB ROM or I'd have had a brick ... LOL. Once you wrap your head around this stuff many hours of trial and error can be done in a few minutes! Anyhoo ... enough rambling ... love ur forums ... lots of great info and help !!! Thanks! - kinerf

Welcome to the forums, Kinerf! :hello:
Rooting has come a long way for sure but still a nail biting experience every time. :)
Curious how JB is running on a dated device, but it seems to be doing just fine on the Nexus S which has the same internals.
    Enjoy the site!

Nice intro and welcome to the forums!

Yeah rooting and what you can do afterwards can definitely be alot to take it, but from your experience, you know what to do if something bad happens and recovering isn't an option :p

Ahh the fascinate, such a good device when I had it ages ago :p

If we can help you with anything, don't hesitate to ask :)
